DeltaSud is a site dedicated to the dissemination of research, design and project development concerning urban planning and
landscape in urban deltas. With emphasis on the Parana Delta (Argentina), the researches, projects, conferences and publications
displayed on this site have been developed by the PhD (cand.) MSc. Arq. Veronica Zagare, within different teams, through the
cooperation with renowned Argentinean and international institutions.
This site also exhibits the production of the Argentinean Wing of Delta Alliance International, an international knowledge-driven
network organization with the aim of improving the resilience of the world’s deltas. Delta Alliance has sixteen delegations: California
Bay (USA), Ciliwung y Mahakam (Indonesia), Mekong (Viet Nam), Rhine-Meuse (Países Bajos), Nile (Egipto), Pantanal (Brasil),
Ganges-Brahmaputra (Bangladesh), Mississippi (USA), Yangtze (China), Parana (Argentina), Ayeyarwady (Myanmar), Zambezi
(Mozambique), Tana (Kenya), Volta (Ghana), Ebro (España), Keelung, Lanyang, Choshuichi and Gaoping (Taiwan).

Veronica Zagare is also part of the Delta Urbanism Research Group of the Delta Interventions Studio (Department of Urban
Planning, Delft University of Technology – TUDelft-), directed by Prof.dr.ir. Han Meyer. The projects developed in the framework of
